Science is now proving that if we can change our habitual thoughts, we can change our lives. (“Change Your Brain, Change Your Life” by Dr. David Amen; “How to Feel Good” by Dr. Candace Pert). Over the last decade, more research has been done on how the brain works.
In this program, one of the ideas used and explained is the scientific finding that the quality of our thoughts influences how we feel and what choices we make on a daily basis.
This program has been designed to support caregivers in their daily lives by helping them think more positive thoughts. This can provide them with a more fulfilling experience in their role.
What you think about in the privacy of your own mind matters!
Krysta Gibson has worked with family caregivers and their loved ones for over a decade as well as having been a family caregiver herself. She uses these experiences to design a program of support that addresses the primary issues faced by many caregivers. The program consists of positive statements set to the background of piano music by Grammy-nominated musician David Lanz.
The program lasts about 20 minutes and gives you a chance to slow down, relax, and think new thoughts that will better support you in being a happier family caregiver.
